How we train Reactive dogs

We like to keep things simple - here is our 5-step approach
Step 1
Book an assessment

Our friendly admin team or user-friendly booking system make it easy for you to book an assessment for your dog at a time that suits you.

Step 2
Meet your trainer

Our initial assessment allows us to identify and address the needs to be met or the problems that need to be solved.

Step 3
Plan

Once we have an understanding of what your dog needs, our training team will create a programme to suit the needs of you and your dog.

Step 4
Train

This is where the hard work starts. Our training team will guide you through our tailored programme.

Step 5
Graduate

On completion of the course, you and your dog will graduate from the YCA and gain access to exclusive member services such as discounted day care and boarding.

Ask us a question
Where are you based?

Kings Road, Leeds, LS16 8BG

How do I know which service is right for me?

Book an assessment! Our senior trainers will discuss your current concerns and what you’d like to achieve from your training. After your assessment they will recommend a training programme based on your goals.

I've been to different trainers before, how do I know you'll be different?

Our unique training system has been tried and tested to tackle and treat even the most severe behavioural issues after others have fallen short. 72% of all our graduates have seen at least one other dog trainer before us.

My dog has bitten before, will you still work with them?

Certainly! Schedule an assessment, and we can gain a clearer understanding of the events leading up to the bite(s) and advise accordingly.

I live really far away, but I'd love you to help with my dog. Do you offer zoom based training?

Yes, we offer zoom assessments and zoom training sessions. We also offer more intensive face to face training options if you have a long way to travel. We've worked with clients from the Isle of Man, Jersey, Switzerland, Austria and Norway this year alone.
